Why am I entitled to this money?
In November 2006 Osprey Acquisitions Limited made a cash offer for AWG. The offer was accepted by the majority of shareholders, which allowed Osprey to complete the compulsory acquisition of the remaining AWG shares. Your shares form part of the shares compulsorily acquired.

Why have I not received my cash entitlement?
Despite several attempts to contact you since the acquisition, Osprey has received no response from you. As a result your cash entitlement has been held in trust on your behalf by Osprey and can only be released if you claim it.

When will I receive my payment?
Once your claim has been validated, please allow up to 4 weeks for your claim to be processed and your entitlement dispatched to you. We will make payment by cheque, to the registered holder of the entitlement (or the first named holder in the case of joint holders). We will not accept any instructions to make cheques payable to anyone other than the person(s) whose name appears on the Claim Form.

Are there any tax consequences?
The sale of shares constitutes a disposal of an asset under UK tax law and, accordingly, a tax liability may arise. If you are unsure of what action to take you should seek independent financial advice.

What should I do if I have moved or changed my name?
If you have moved from the original registered address, by signing the Declaration in Section 2, you will be confirming that that both the current and last addresses as shown at the top of the Claim Form were yours, or used by you. If you have moved from the Current Address shown at the top of the Claim Form, then please contact us on the freephone helpline number below. In the event that your name has changed (i.e. through marriage or deed poll change) you must submit a certified official document as evidence of this change. These documents must be included when submitting this claim. If you are in any doubt as to what action to take, please contact us on the freephone helpline number below.

What if the claimant has died?
If the person named on the Claim Form has passed away, the executor(s) of the estate must sign the Claim Form. If no Probate or Certificate of Confirmation has been applied for, please contact us on the freephone helpline number below.

What if I do nothing?
